DRAWING MORPHING

As our first project in this class, we did what's called "drawing morphing".
Drawing morphing is when you take something man-made and turn it into something of nature.

As a history and nature lover, I decided to turn a Queen Anne Victorian house into a group of trees.
A lot of math had to be used due to the fact that I measured everything to make it exact.
|
First, it starts out as the house. Second, all of the green wood sidings of the house turns into the color of the tree bark. Third, certain details (porches, door, windows, etc.) were added to the trees. And finally, just the trees.
TOOLS: - 0.5 mechanical pencil - yardstick - watercolor pencils - water -small watercolor paintbrushes
