For this project, we were required to make a cooking show style video of us making a Spanish related meal whilst speaking in Spanish. Including an ingredients list and a list of steps. I chose nachos. This is the final project! Enjoy!
Mi Frida Project
In this project, we got inspired by a biography of Frida Kahlo and decided to do one of our own! My biography was about the country/rock/gospel legend, Johhny Cash.
First, we researched our person and wrote a draft biography and chose a painting of Frida Kahlo's to base it off of.
Then, we wrote the real biography and painted our person.

Calaveras Project
Calavera: Calaveras literally means "skulls". Calaveras are poems recited for the Day of the Dead (All Souls Day) in Mexico. They're satirical poems that poke fun at people in a way that suggests they're dead, even though they're alive.

In this assignment, we were required to make a calavera poem about someone. I chose to do my buddy Robbie. He is a rock climber, so I thought it'd be funny and satirical to make him fall off a rather small rock and die. Instead of drawing a skull, I decided to print out a funny picture of him instead.

Robert Edward Patla
Robert Edward Patla es a una persona extraña.
Vive en una casa solitaria en Nevada con un zorrillo mascota.
Su nombre es Gerald.
O.G. para abreviar.
Robbie busca piedras en el desierto para ganarse la vida.
A nadie le gusta.
Él es demasiado extraño para este mundo.
Robbie gusta sus cheques en Las Vegas.
Sin embargo, no diré en qué lo gasta específicamente.
Eso no es de mi incumbencia.
El le gusta escalar rocas.
Aunque no es muy bueno.
Una dia, Robbie escalar rocas, y es muy estupida.
Hay una roca que es siete pies de altura.
El decide a sube el roca.
Pero, el olvida que Gerald es en su mochila.
Pobre Gerald.
Robbie sube el roca, y despues ocho minutos, FINALMENTE llega a la cima.
Cuando se levanta, el perdio su equilibrio, y tala de la roca.
Robbie muerta cuando el tala.
Gerald gatear fuera de mochila, y dejó su cadáver atrás.
El fin.
