Part III: Approach Analysis

 

I) I decided to take a podcast approach that will inform listeners in the public about the Thomas Brown case.

 

II) I researched podcasts about the case and found one that was actually really good. It was by a group that does cases called “Unfound”. In their podcast, they interviewed Thomas’ mother, Penny Meek, about Thomas and everything in detail that has happened. I learned more about the case by just listening to her than I do looking at news reports and timelines.

 

III) The interview definitely made the podcast strong, and the creator found some of his own clues too that got people to really start thinking. It would have given more strength if they also interviewed the investigator. I would definitely apply interviews and my own personal findings and/or suggestions to my podcast.
